Neha Prajapati
Director of Operations, Chicago
Before joining our team, Neha was a care manager at another home care agency in Chicago. She was responsible for coordinating and managing the care of clients who needed support due to a physical or mental disability, chronic illness, or age-related decline. In addition, Neha conducted home assessments, supervised caregivers, provided feedback and support to families, coordinated transportation, and ensured care plans were up to date. Neha was also required to be on call 24/7 in case of emergencies and received accolades for handling difficult situations with sensitivity and professionalism. She brought all of those skills here.
Neha is also a huge fan of cooking and loves to try out new recipes and cuisines. She credits her grandfather for influencing her love of cooking, as he was always experimenting with new dishes and flavors in the kitchen. She also valued spending time with both her grandparents, absorbing the values they shared with her about family and finding joy in the little things in life. These values have stayed with her throughout her career in the home care industry.
“My grandparents were -and still are- a valuable source of wisdom, love, and support. Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my grandparents and witnessed first-hand the benefits of aging at home. They always made me feel loved and valued and taught me so much about life. Their home was a place of warmth and comfort, where I felt free to be myself and explore my interests. They were always there to lend a listening ear and offer advice, and their love and guidance have stayed with me throughout my life. I am grateful for the time I was able to spend with them and the memories we made together.”
