At Private Home Care, we believe the best home care begins with the best people—caregivers who are compassionate, skilled, and deeply committed to delivering the kind of care they’d want for their own loved ones. We don’t just value our team—we invest in them. That’s why we have higher job satisfaction, lower turnover, and a culture built on trust, respect, and shared purpose.

When you join PHC, you’re joining a team of professionals who are supported, empowered, and passionate about making a difference. And we’re committed to making PHC the best place to work—and the best place to impact lives through care.

Better Pay & Competitive Benefits

PHC caregivers earn 25% more per hour than the industry average after one year of tenure. With access to consistent full-time hours and comprehensive benefits—including health insurance and a 401(k) with a 3% match—our team is empowered to stay, grow, and deliver the highest standard of care.

Supportive, Professional Culture

Our Caregivers have 24/7 support from our office staff and Care Coordinators. Our team communicates and supports each other to make sure Caregivers have the resources they need to be successful.

Thoughtful Client Matching

We want our Caregivers to have a positive experience and enjoy going to work. We put a lot of thought into matching our Caregivers with the right client. We consider skill set, experience, and even hobbies and personality.

Continued Education

We support professional growth and provide continuing education opportunities. We offer regular training sessions at our office, and we enroll our Caregivers in conferences and virtual classes offered by hospitals, local universities, and other elder care professionals.

Caregiver Rewards and Recognition

At Private Home Care, we believe recognition should be consistent, meaningful, and built into the way we work. Our caregiver rewards program is designed specifically for home care professionals to acknowledge actions that make a real difference—like EVV compliance, shift acceptance, training completion, peer referrals, punctuality, and more. Caregivers earn micro-rewards in real time, reinforcing the standards that define great care and a strong team culture.

Whether you’re an experienced caregiver or building your career in home care, PHC offers more than a job. It’s a place where your contributions are noticed, your impact is valued, and your commitment is rewarded with purpose.

Great Place to Work Certified

Great Place to Work Institute and its senior care partner Activated Insights have honored Private Home Care with certification as a Great Place to Work. The certification process involved surveying 100% of employees from across Private Home Care’s locations and evaluating more than 60 elements of team members’ experience on the job. These included employee pride in the organization’s community impact, belief that their work makes a difference, and feeling their work has special meaning. Rankings are based on employees’ experiences, no matter who they are or what they do.
